Description
Fadini K633.1L Junior 633 230V Sliding Gate Kit | up to 600kg
Overview
Heavy timber-clad sliding gates or tracked iron systems require high initial thrust to move from a dead stop, especially when the track accumulates leaves, gravel, or winter frost. The Fadini JUNIOR 633 (K633.1L) kit meets this demand by utilizing a 230V AC mains-powered induction motor. Unlike smaller low-voltage systems that can stall under high resistance, the 230V configuration delivers a steady 600 N of thrust, ensuring dependable travel performance even on less-than-perfect gate tracks.
The structural design centers on Fadini’s oil-bath lubrication framework. The main mechanical linkages are continuously protected by a layer of fluid, reducing friction-induced heat. This allows the system to support intensive duty cycles without triggering the internal 160°C thermal overload cut-out. Controlled by the integrated Elpro 65 control board, the operator cushions the gate’s movement at the end of both the opening and closing cycles using adjustable digital deceleration zones.
Key Features
-
Powder-Coated Die-Cast Foundation: Built on a rugged, corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum base plate finished with a polyester powder coat to protect against road salt and harsh weather.
-
Dual-Anticrush Protection Matrix: Combines an internal encoder with continuous current monitoring to detect obstructions and immediately reverse gate travel.
-
Key-Locked Safety Release Handle: Features a solid aluminum manual release handle secured by an encrypted key. Opening this handle trips an internal safety switch that cuts power to the control logic for user safety during manual operation.
-
Master/Slave Synchronization: The Elpro 65 firmware supports dual-cabling synchronization, making it easy to coordinate two opposing sliding gates covering a broad driveway footprint.

Trade Installation & Starter Capacitor Calibration Tip
Pro Tip: Unlike the low-voltage 24V DC Junior 624, the 230V AC Junior 633 relies on an internal 12.5 microfarad (μF) starter capacitor to generate the initial phase-shift torque required to move a heavy 600kg gate from a dead stop.
The Professional Method: During cold winter handovers, if you notice the gate stuttering or stalling immediately after receiving a start signal, don’t adjust the Elpro 65 electronic force settings right away. First, check that the 12.5 μF capacitor hasn’t lost capacitance due to voltage drops over long cable runs. Always use a minimum of 2.5mm² cable for mains power lines exceeding 20 meters from the consumer unit. This ensures the starter capacitor receives the stable voltage required to deliver the full 600 N of breakaway thrust.
