Description
Fadini K880.3L HINDI 880 EVO Compact Hydraulic Kit | VIX 53
Overview
Automating short gate leaves or installing automation on narrow masonry pillars requires a highly compact, agile operator. Standard long-stroke rams move too slowly or require excessively large mounting dimensions for small spans. The Fadini HINDI 880 EVO K880.3L system solves this limitation with its specialized 150mm industrial-grade piston travel. By utilizing a continuous low-viscosity fluid loop inside a premium extruded anodized aluminum housing, the rams generate immense linear thrust directly across the gate structure, providing a fast, smooth 13-second opening cycle without any of the jerky movements or mechanical groaning common to screw-driven alternatives.
Versatility is central to the Hindi 880 Evo design. Its integrated EVO Valve Technology lets you customize the physical locking profile directly under the ram’s protective lid. It can be easily set up to lock rigidly in the closed position (B Mode), lock in both open and closed positions (BB Mode), or remain completely reversible (N Mode) for manual operation paired with an external electric lock. Driven by the field-tested Elpro 27 Logic Board, the kit guarantees uniform speed throughout its opening cycle.
Key Features
-
Anodized Corrosion Shield: The structural outer body is constructed from high-grade extruded anodized aluminum, guaranteeing immunity against harsh winter frost, high humidity, and road salt.
-
Fluid Deceleration Braking: Features internal hydraulic dampening channels that provide built-in hydraulic braking zones near the end of travel, eliminating harsh gate slamming.
-
Adjustable Ball Bearing Collar: Equipped with a high-strength adjustable rear mounting joint that allows installers to fine-tune geometry configurations on tight brick or stone pillars.
-
Ergonomic Release Mechanism: Includes a dedicated, customized metal override key located under a weatherproof protective sliding flap, allowing instant manual gate release during power cuts.

Trade Installation & Geometry Calibration Tip
Pro Tip: Because the K880.3L features a short 150mm stroke, your installation brackets must be positioned with high precision. Small errors in the side and rear spacing measurements (A and B coordinates) will significantly alter the ram’s leverage and available opening angle.
The Professional Method: Before tack-welding the mounting brackets permanently to your posts, manually cycle the gate leaf to verify that the piston rod does not bottom out completely inside the cylinder or over-extend past its physical limits. Leaving a safety buffer of 5mm of stroke at both ends of travel prevents unnecessary stress on the internal seals. Additionally, while the 150mm ram cycles rapidly, ensure the hydraulic by-pass valves are adjusted to respect local anti-crush safety forces, as the shorter stroke naturally increases linear force across the gate frame.
