Description
Fadini BART 350 24V Articulated Swing Gate Kit | VIX 53 Edition
Overview
Automating gates hung on wide brick columns often proves impossible for standard linear ram arms, as the body of the ram collides with the corner of the pillar. The Fadini BART 350 24V system completely circumvents this issue by using a multi-jointed articulated drive arm. Acting similarly to a human elbow, the arm reaches comfortably around the pillar corner to pull the gate leaf open from the inside smoothly and quietly.
Running on a 24V DC electrical loop, the BART 350 is naturally suited for high-frequency residential duty cycles. Because the internal steel worm gear and bronze crown matrix are continuously packed with specialized high-performance technical grease, structural friction and heat remain nominal. Controlled seamlessly by the integrated Elpro 35 series microprocessors, the gate stops smoothly against its built-in physical mechanical stops, meaning you don’t have to install ugly metal triangles or trip hazards in the middle of your driveway surface.
Key Features
-
Integrated Physical End Stops: Includes an adjustable internal heavy-duty physical open-gate mechanical stop bolted beneath the mounting bracket, keeping installation neat.
-
Anti-Shearing Arm Design: The heavy galvanized steel articulated joints are designed with specialized curves to prevent accidental finger trapping or shearing hazards during operation.
-
Interlocked Emergency Release: Features a key-locked aluminum manual release handle directly on top of the motor casing. Opening this handle trips an internal microswitch that instantly cuts low-voltage logic control to ensure maximum user safety while manual override is active.
-
Optional Sliding Guide Variant: For very cramped layouts or instances where gates are mounted flush with the inner edge of a wall, the system can be configured with a low-profile straight arm sliding inside a galvanized steel track.

Trade Installation & Cross-Driveway Wiring Tip
Pro Tip: Because the BART 350 uses a specialized Master/Slave communication matrix, running incorrect cable architectures under the driveway ducting will cause communication synchronization dropouts or erratic limit learning faults.
The Professional Method: When laying down your driveway ground conduit between the Master pillar and the Slave pillar, you must pull two distinct, high-quality cable lines to bridge the Elpro 35M board to the Elpro 35S connection board. Always use a dedicated 3-core x 1.5mm² cable for the high-amperage 24V DC motor power loop, alongside a completely separate, shielded 4-core x 0.5mm² cable to route the low-voltage encoder signals and limit switches cleanly. Never combine the motor power lines and delicate encoder signaling lines into a single thick multi-core cable, as electromagnetic noise from the motor will distort the encoder data packet.
