Description
Fadini K730.1L FOX 730 Underground Electromechanical Gate Kit | VIX 53 Edition
Overview
Automating high-end residential gates requires an invisible solution that doesn’t compromise on mechanical toughness. The Fadini FOX 730 K730.1L system replaces unsightly surface-mounted swing arms with an ultra-compact subterranean gearmotor. Utilizing a robust combination of steel-on-steel and steel-on-brass worm screws running on heavy radial bearings, the system provides a constant, reliable, and whisper-quiet opening pacing that breathes high-end luxury.
This premium kit relies on the advanced Elpro 43 Control Programmer Module equipped with D.S.A. (Drive Safety Assistant) auto-test logic. Before the gates initiate any movement, the board runs a rapid diagnostic on all connected photocells and safety circuits. Backed by an integrated encoder system, the electronics safely decelerate the gate speed as it approaches its open and closed resting points, mitigating mechanical wear and eliminating slamming.
Key Features
-
Watertight Engineering Shield: The internal gearmotor is sealed in an IP67 die-cast casing, fastened securely inside a 3mm thick electrolytically coated steel foundation case to withstand ground dampness and winter frost.
-
Built-in Mechanical Limits: The kit includes pre-engineered movement levers fitted with adjustable internal mechanical travel stops, allowing you to establish exact 105° opening trajectories without needing physical stops on your driveway surface.
-
Ergonomic Key Release: In the event of a residential power cut or system lockout, the gate can be manually disconnected easily from above ground using a specially shaped emergency release key.
-
Eco-Conscious Signal Strength: The upgraded VIX 53 remote system changes its encryption signature automatically with every button press, completely preventing data “sniffing” or signal copying by unauthorized vehicles.

Trade Installation & Drainage Tip
Pro Tip: Because electromechanical underground kits like the FOX 730 rely on grease-lubricated internal gears rather than an airtight oil-hydraulic loop, they are particularly sensitive to prolonged immersion in standing rainwater or chemical runoff from salt-treated driveways.
The Professional Method: During groundwork excavation, ensure your gravel soakaway beneath the foundation boxes is perfectly level. Most importantly, clean any mud or debris away from the integrated water escape hole on the bottom face of the steel housing box. We highly recommend rinsing the inside of the box annually during standard gate servicing to clear out silt or leaves. Keeping the drainage clear ensures your internal brass and steel worm gears operate dry and effortlessly for over a decade!
