The Fadini HINDI 880 EVO K880.4L system handles this challenge via its 400mm industrial-grade piston travel. By utilizing a continuous low-viscosity fluid loop inside a premium extruded anodized aluminum housing, the rams generate immense linear thrust directly across the gate structure, conquering crosswinds without the mechanical wear or grinding noises associated with traditional screw-driven rams.
The standout benefit of the K880.4L configuration is its integrated Hydraulic Slowdown (Braking). Unlike lower-tier kits that stop abruptly under full mains power, the K880.4L relies on internal fluid-constriction channels near the end of the cylinder chamber. Pro Tip: The K880.4L kit relies on internal fluid-constriction chambers to slow the gate down near the end of travel. This means that if your physical gate hinges are out of alignment or binding, the hydraulic slowdown zone can cause the gate to stop short of its full travel target due to cumulative resistance.
The Professional Method: Prior to locking the operators into place, ensure the gate leaves swing smoothly with zero catching throughout their entire arc. When setting up the running time on the Elpro 27 control panel, add an extra 2 to 3 seconds to the total cycle timer beyond what a normal cycle requires. This extra run time ensures that when the ram transitions into its mechanical fluid slowdown mode, the motor continues pushing at a lower velocity to firmly press the gate leaf home against its physical stop plates.
